Competency, authority & credibility
A responsibility to our customers and team
We work alongside Investors in Excellence, BIFA and the Employee Ownership Association to ensure that our greatest assets are nurtured and protected, these being our people.
An Employee Owned Company
In September 2017, Espace became an Employee Owned Company
In recognition to all our employees who have made Espace the successful, well respected freight forwarding company it is, in 2017 we took the decision to become an Employee Owned Company. We’re delighted that this gives everyone who works for Espace a stake in its continued success.

Investors in Excellence
The IIE standard represents a Company’s dedication to continual improvement and on-going success and sustainability.
IIE covers all areas of an organisation’s activities and these are structured around nine principles: Five of these principles are concerned with what the organisation does:
Leadership, Strategy, People, Partnerships & Resources
The remaining four are concerned with what the organisation achieves:
Customers results, People results, Key Performance results & Society results
Espace won re-accreditation to the IIE Standard in July 2016, its 3rd re-accreditation in 6 years.
The Assessor found Espace Europe to be a very well structured organisation with vision and goals clearly expressed, which truly live’s its values. Customers, suppliers and staff are all equally important to Espace and the organisation is intent on continuous improvement as a way of life.
