What is the difference between a moffett and a hiab trailer?

HIAB

Located behind the cab of vehicle, truck mounted cranes allow heavy goods to be offloaded from the vehicle using either a hook, clamp or bucket depending on the freight without the need to hire cranes which require permits and, or risk assessments.

Moffett

Mounted at the rear of the HGV vehicle, vehicle mounted forklifts can be disconnected and used to offload goods quickly and easily if forklifts are not available. They can be used in tight areas and over rough ground such as building sites and small yards.
