What is an XL trailer?
An XL trailer is a trailer type that has specially re-enforced curtains to withstand 50% of the rated payload to the side, without extra load securing and following the manufacturer’s “positive fit” guidelines.
These are that the load is loaded by the trailer’s headboard, right down the trailer to its rear and to within 80mm of each side.
