What Is a lifting roof mega trailer?
Mega trailers normally have a maximum internal height of 3 metres.
3 metres however is not the side access height due to the side roof rail which reduces maximum side access height to approximately 2.90 metres. Lifting roof mega trailers incorporate a hydraulic system that elevates the roof on a temporary basis by 30 cms. Thus giving a greater side access height to load. Once the trailer has been loaded the trailer roof is lowered.
