The time-critical European delivery service of Espace Europe, known as “The Freight Emergency Service”, was very proud to be announced as an Award winner at the Global Freight Awards on 19th November hosted by Lloyds Loading List.
It won the “Specialist Freight Solutions Provider of the Year” category. An online quote tool, 100% Money Back Guarantee and a 100% on time delivery record were 3 of the reasons why Espace’s submission stood out to the 12 strong judging panel.
Tony Shally, M.D, accepted the Award on the night saying that it was great that SME’s like Espace have a chance to compete with the large blue chip logistics firms on a level playing field.
The concept of its Freight Emergency Service was devised in 2012 by one of Espace’s staff, Geoff Yates in their Lichfield office. The service boomed in the ensuing 2 years with more and more customers booking time-critical European Express shipments with both the Lichfield and Preston Brook offices of Espace.
The launch of its web portal allowing customers to generate their own European express prices and transit times has taken the service to the next level and was without doubt one of the main reasons why Espace were selected for this Award.
